How To Get Involved

Rainbow Bay offers a wide range of activities and opportunities for people of all ages. Being a volunteer organisation, any work done by its volunteers is greatly appreciated and new members are always welcome at Rainbow Bay. To get involved just contact the club.

Active members

Surf Lifesaving is a learned skill and members from the age of 13 onwards can start to gain qualifying awards that allow them to participate in this icon of Australian Culture.

The Life Saving Start and Life Saving Bronze are the minimum awards required for patrolling the beach. Through out the year Rainbow Bay runs many various courses with the purpose to qualify new members for awards. These courses provide unique training and skill development, and is also a great opportunity to meet new friends who share the same community ideals.

Club House

The Rainbow Bay Clubhouse is set in the corner between Rainbow Bay and Snapper rock with one of the best views along the coast. As well as housing the Club's emergency equipment, it also provides an office and training facilities for members year round. Upstairs is the Ocean deck and restaurant which is open all year round and overlooks the beach and nearby park.
